Robert LeGendre provides piano lessons to students ages 6+ of all abilities. His lessons are provided on a grand piano in his home studio located on the east side of Tucson. His lessons are customized to each student based on their needs, abilities, and goals. These lessons give a solid foundation in technique, reading music, and music theory, and build a repertoire based on the student's preference of any of the classical, jazz, rock, blues, or pop genres. He often creates unique sheet music arrangements of the student's favorite songs at their difficulty level to best suit their needs.
Lesson rates are $30 for half hour and $50 for full hour. The first lesson/interview is free!
Robert is currently employed by the University of Arizona, accompanying ballet and modern dance classes at the School of Dance. Robert has played in jazz big bands, jazz combos, rock bands, musical theatre productions, and electronic music collaborations, composed piano and electronic music pieces for dance productions, and has provided accompaniment for singers, ballet, and contemporary dancers.
